The title sounds sophisticated enough, doesn’t it? But truth be told, sometimes, I draw something simply because I find it beautiful.
And that’s exactly what happened here!
This is a pencil drawing of a guy’s chest, focusing on the nipple and the gentle curves of the surrounding body.
I wanted to keep the shading soft, without strong outlines or sharp contrasts, allowing the shapes to emerge gradually from the paper. The nipple is the most clearly defined feature, while the rest of the chest is suggested rather than fully detailed.
I should have made up a complicated story behind this drawing, and its impressive symbolism but I’m afraid I’d forget it by tomorrow and you’ll eventually catch my lie. So, instead: I liked it – I drew it!
And, well… I still think it’s beautiful. 😁
