October has been a renovation month for this site. Some things have changed or improved during the month. So, I’ll start with a “Goodbye October!”

Goodbye, October!

So, first of all, you might have noticed, but the “Welcome” page was changed to the “Start Here” page. That’s what it was trying to do, anyway, and someone who knows his job better than I should know his job told me that my name didn’t really convey this meaning. So, I followed his advice. I also updated the content of the page.

Gallery is what received the greatest renovation. Nothing was deleted. Some new posts were added to Nudes (5), Sensual Nudes (1), and Portraits (3), but that’s not what I meant by “renovation”.

A kind reminder, Sensual Nudes are visible to subscribers only, and some posts there also need a password. Both of these are FREE of charge, and they will remain so – just to be clear. I have no paid services on this site – or anywhere, actually.

Back to the renovation thing. I noticed that quite a few of the Gallery posts didn’t have clickable images. 🤦‍♂️ Yes, I’m changing that. Miscellaneous, Portraits, and Sensual Nudes are already done. Nudes are not yet finished, but I believe by the end of the month they will be.

If you notice that any image in these groups is not clickable, please let me know, and I’ll correct that. There are two exceptions, though. My Self Portrait, which will remain non-clickable. The same is true for the portrait of Alyson Madden-Brooker, which will remain non-clickable unless Alyson says otherwise.

Moreover, for many posts the clickable image is now of a higher resolution. Until now I’ve been using images of roughly 1.4 MP (depending on the format of the original). The new images are of roughly 2.8 MP. That’s also true for all the new entries of the Gallery For Miscellaneous, Portraits, and Sensual Nudes the images I haven’t replaced with a 2.8 MP one will remain as they are. The same is true for the Nudes I have already checked. On the other hand, all new entries from now on will be, right from the start, about 2.8 MP.

Last but not least, the header image of the site has changed after almost 10 years. I’ve posted about this, so I won’t repeat the story here, tempted as I may be. But, I won’t resist the temptation to add the new image here. 😏

You know me, I’m prone to blabbering, so I’ll pretend to be sensible and say, “And that’s, more or less, all I wanted to say about October.”

November the 1^st is Authors’ Day. If I were still on Twitter, I’d go on a retweeting frenzy, but I am not. So, instead, I’ll advertise a few authors. Yeah, not really advertising, because – you know – I’m really bad at it. So, I’ll only mention them, link to their Amazon pages (and paste the first sentence of their bio), and let their work do the talking. I’ll just say that I really think they are worth checking out. So, here they are:

What Short Story to Expect in November?

The answer is none.

Yesterday was Halloween, so – naturally – tomorrow is Christmas! I’m sure you know what I mean. Anyway, I’m working on a special Christmas-themed short story – not romance – which, if it goes well, I’ll publish in December, and I’ll then explain why I called it “special”.

But since you are asking for my Short Stories, have you read Love in the Shadows of Willowmere and Halloween at the Fernbeck Inn? 😜

What Else to Expect?

Nothing grand, honestly. You can expect some more Learning Greek posts, some The Bible (the way it should be read) posts, some more artwork uploads, and the usual stuff.

So, that’s all!
