Hello, People!
Let me make one thing clear: this is not a post for Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. The “Squid” in the title is this beauty:

If you haven’t been with me for enough years, you probably don’t know why I call this astonishingly beautiful guy (my tastes 😉️) “Squid”, and those who have been around long enough, are likely to have forgotten.
Actually, this is the first male nude I tried to draw, and he ended up looking like a mutant squid. Especially the tentacles he has where he should have fingers. If you want to find more about this embarrassing but necessary part of my drawing history click here. Well, what can I say? I wasn’t born knowing how to draw. It’s an acquired skill.
Anyway, long story short, the only thing that looked good enough in the first version of the Squid was his dick, which – with some imagination – looks like a real dick and not at all like a squid’s dick. Actually, a real squid’s dick looks like a tentacle. So, yes, not at all alike.
So, then I focused on drawing dicks – many of them – until, six months later I felt that the dicks were much more realistic and maybe I should test how much I had improved, by drawing the Squid, once again. And I did. The second version of the Squid is also in the same post.
I was pretty happy with the improvements. The dick was slightly better, but that “slightly” is because it’s a very small part of the drawing. The body looked much more human-like. Not to mention the hands looked like hands. Not good, true, but still, not tentacles any longer. His cute, playful-yet-shy smile, too, although far from the real one, it didn’t look as sinister as in the first version.
So, I decided then, that I’d keep drawing the Squid every six months, to have a good comprehension of my improvement – if any – and, of course, to eventually end up with a nice drawing of my first real crush. If we don’t count the boy in kindergarten we made plans to get married, that is.
We had a small disagreement about who would be the bride and who would be the groom, because, in our minds, the issue was the dress, not the gender. In any case, adults found out about our plans – we didn’t think we needed to hide them – and… let’s say the marriage was cancelled in a not pleasant way.
Back to the Squid and drawing!
So, six months passed from the completion of the second version, and… I chickened out.
“What if I can’t make him even as good as version 2?”
“Have I even improved at all?”
“No, I can’t do it!”
“Maybe practice another six months before trying?”
So, another six months passed, but these thoughts were still present. And another six… And eventually, 2025 came and I still hadn’t mustered the courage to redraw the Squid, or to banish those inner demons.
But in 2025 a truly evil external demon manifested – that fascistic UK law, but according to Musk’s geography knowledge ‘the whole Europe is part of the UK’ – and rendered my NSFW art account on Twitter useless. And, hence, I decided to make a gallery on my site.
And while I was checking all my (many) artworks to see which one should I upload and which not, a shy, timid thought came in my mind: “Aren’t even the ones I judge not good enough to upload better than the Squid version 2?”
“Nah! It’s my imagination.”
But was it? So, I shared these thoughts with a very good friend, Rosetta Yorke, and she said, “Bunny, you are hopeless!”
And that’s how, reluctantly – and very much so – I decided to try to make version 3. The one you see above. And after and only after I had finished the drawing, I saw that, “Oh my gods! That’s much better!”
Needless to say, he is now on my wall.
So, here is a little advice I’ll never follow but you (and I 😋️) should:
Wanting to get better at whatever you want to become better at is a good thing. Being enthusiastic, or even a little obsessed with achieving that is also a good thing. But don’t let self-doubt stop you or blind you of your progress.
In my life – more than once – ridiculous coincidences between what I wrote and what happened in my reality have occurred. For example, right after publishing Gregory Kirk, a café-bar I used to go hired two new waiters. A Gregory and a Jimmy. Even more, were they actors, I could easily assign them the roles of Gregory Kirk and Jimmy Allan. Although, truth be told, I’d give the real-life Jimmy Gregory’s role and the real-life Gregory Jimmy’s role. But still, you get the point.
So, in case one such unbelievable coincidence does happen, and the guy in the drawing reads this post, I’d like to tell him, “Thank you very much for inspiring my life, my writing and my art, for more years than anyone else, and for making me dream and hope!”
And for those puritans who claim that nudes and nudity are evil and harmful, go praise and preach the sainthood of fathers who fuck their own daughters, like Lot, and try to convince yourself you are sane and that you are doing something good.
That’s all. Have fun, draw nudes, and show off your naked bodies, because you never know whom and how much you may inspire.
Love and Kisses,

Bunny dear,
Always you doubt yourself.
Always you underestimate your wonderful artistic talents.
