Shower on Rhodes

This is a charcoal drawing.

Sometimes, instead of depicting tones from lighter to darker, I depict local contrast with some consideration of the overall tones. The latter is only applied as much as necessary for the image to clearly convey what it needs to show. This drawing follows that style.

The photo shoot took place on Rhodes Island, Greece — hence the title. The model is me. The photographer was not a professional — just my roommate — and he was more interested in my ass than in framing the photo. But it was fun.
