This is an oil pastel drawing.
No linseed oil was used to smoothen up anything.
At the time my art supplies shop was lacking some of the oil pastels of the brand I used to use and I needed. The owner suggested another brand. So I bought a few. Not just the ones I was lacking because oil pastels of different brands have different textures – even if the shops describe them the same way. I used those new oil pastels to draw this one, to test them. I’ve never again bought the old brand.
A pleasant thought/memory now that the season is rapidly passing here in the Northern Hemisphere. A good reminder of what will hopefully return next year! Great art, my friend! 😉 Naked hugs!
